Joggers
|
Every day now they are out, arses wiggling.
It seems to have overtaken the lycra-clad-smug-arseholes-on-bicycles as the new 'look at me, i am vital and socially progressive' pastime for repressed 20-somethings and middle-aged crisis twats.

How do you know someone's a runner?
Or has an iPhone?
Or went to Oxbridge?

By looking at the footwear, tattoo quantity, facial sweatage and overall demeanour

I know a vegan runner who has an Iphone and went to Cambridge.
There isn't an amount of time short enough.

I don't mind joggers nearly as much as cyclists.
At least they seem less determined to constantly block me in my car, travelling at about 20/25mph, constantly weaving behind and in front of me.
They do look funny though, wobbling along in their presumably very expensive jogging kit, with their specially shaped for holding while jogging water bottle.

What happens to people between being repressed 20-something joggers and middle-aged crisis twat joggers? Do they become overweight, carnivorous boozers?

I'm all for people keeping fit and always step aside for joggers on the pavement when I'm walking, but what really pisses me off is when it's obvious to them I've done it and there is no acknowledgement or thanks that I've allowed them to carry on unimpeded when I didn't have to. I'd say that happens with 95% of them. A simple nod would do.

Yes.
I'm still waiting for the middle-age crisis, jogger, twat phase to arrive.
Well, the middle-age crisis, jogger bit anyway.

Nothing wrong with jogging /running. Keeping yourself fit and healthy. Cyclists on the other hand. ....

I don't jog but I do plenty of exercise. Better that than being a fat miserable retard.

Bit of both probably! Definite sense of entitlement with some- similar to cyclists who feel red lights simply don;t apply to them.

Have no problem with joggers except the ones that do it by the River Thames.
You have a whole fucking city to run in and you choose the narrowest spot possible.
Cunts.

But does it actually bring any contentment or happiness to just spend all your time identifying more and more commonplace things to despise? Must be exhausting.
